(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A full closure of southbound I-25 will take place overnight on Wednesday, Dec. 4 for bridge repairs and ongoing work as past of the Military Access, Mobility & Safety Improvement Project (MAMSIP).
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the closure will be in place so crews can repair bridge joints and replace concrete pavement panels. The closure will be in place on Dec. 4 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday. I-25 will be closed southbound at Mesa Ridge Parkway to Santa Fe Avenue.
Southbound traffic will detour and exit at Mesa Ridge Parkway (exit 132A), travel to the CanAm Highway (US 85/87), turn south and continue to Santa Fe Avenue to re-enter I-25.
