Kalahari Resorts & Conventions said it expects to open in Spotsylvania County in 2026, making it the fifth location for the company. The company said the resort will be situated off of Interstate 95, adding it is "the perfect adventure destination for families in the DC-Maryland-Virginia metro area, and neighboring cities." The company said the $900 million project is expected to attract more than one million visitors to Virginia each year.
