1 dead, 1 injured after Thanksgiving day shooting in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two men in their 20s were shot early Thursday morning in central Fresno, with one man dying as a result of his injuries, according to Fresno Police.
Officials say shortly after 2 a.m., Fresno Police responded to a call about multiple gunshots heard in the area of Pleasant Street and Fedora Avenue.
When officers arrived officials say they located two people who had been shot. A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 28-year-old victim was transported to the hospital and is currently listed in critical but stable condition
Detectives say they are currently working with the victim and witnesses to identify a motive for the shooting.
A suspect description is not available at this time. Detectives are asking our community that if anyone has information regarding the shooting to please contact the Fresno Police Department.
The identities of the two victims have not been officially released.
