Two people were found dead in a tent late Wednesday afternoon in Wolcott, according to the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department. The department and the Hardwick Emergency Rescue Squad responded to a report about the situation at around 5:55 p.m. that day, the sheriff’s department said in a press release Thursday. The department identified the deceased as Lucas Menard, 48, of Montpelier, and Tammy Menard, 53, of Berlin.
