NORTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Norton Police Department responded to a serious single motor vehicle accident Thursday morning. The crash occurred at 1:36 a.m. on North Washington Street when a vehicle struck a utility pole and a tree, according to Norton police. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
