SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Lincoln High School's marching band has performed in the 98th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. The band of over 200 students marched the two and a half mile parade route in the rain on Thursday morning in front of 400 South Dakotans on the trip and nearly three million people in the crowd. Lincoln students in NYC before Macy’s parade "This is just gonna be an experience that all of us are gonna remember for the rest of our lives, for sure,” said Oliver Veerman, a junior baritone saxophone player, for KELOLAND News earlier this week. Over 30 million people across the world were expected to tune in to various television broadcasts. Lincoln band marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
