SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Spirit of Springfield is trying to make it easier for Forest Park residents to navigate Bright Night's traffic. This year, they will be providing neighborhood passes. The goal is to identify drivers who live in the area so that police can help them access side streets off Longhill Street and Sumner Avenue. Residents can pick up a neighborhood pass at the park's information center at the Sumner Avenue entrance to the park from 8 am to 4 pm. Bright Nights at Forest Park will open for its 30th season on Wednesday, November 27th.
