ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Our brief brush with winter is finally tapering off.

Steady rain north and high elevation snow south will give way to a quieter weekend across WNY.
Precip will be limited to isolated/scattered action within an otherwise mostly cloudy sky both weekend days. Honestly, they're remarkably similar with both Saturday and Sunday holding with high temperatures in the 40s.
Our Thanksgiving week starts dry before rain and windy conditions arrive Monday night into early Tuesday. This system will stay all rain before chillier air spills in behind it. That could keep a random rain/snow shower in the picture Wednesday, but overall it'll be inconsequential from a travel headache standpoint. We continue to monitor a wave of low pressure that looks like it wants to track across the U.S. into Thanksgiving. Models have trended south with this system, keeping Thursday dry. Any northward nudges (still on the table) could introduce Thanksgiving snow. We'll be watching.
