YOSEMITE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Another road inside Yosemite National Park was closed on Friday ahead of the expected winter storm forecast for the weekend. Park rangers previously announced the closure of Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road for the season. On Friday, they announced that Hetch Hetchy Road will join the list of closed roads this Saturday ahead of the expected winter storm. Storm headed toward Central Valley finds a partner in rare phenomenon Officials add the road will be reassessed after the storm passes. They warn visitors to prepare for any trip to the park to involve rain and snow and encourage them to wear weather-appropriate clothing and be prepared for temporary road closures. Park rangers advise visitors to be mindful of hazardous travel conditions this weekend into early next week with slick roads and rockfall potential.
