To date, over 42,000 citizens in Gaza have been killed. Thousands more women and children have received devastating injuries, many requiring amputations. Most of these deaths and injuries are due to U.S.-supplied weapons. It is time for the United States to establish an arms embargo throughout the Middle East. James J. Farrell, Bellevue
