Two men arrested in Houma drug bust

HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — Two men have been arrested following a drug bust that occurred on Friday, Nov. 22, at the conclusion of a two-and-a-half-month long investigation.
According to the Houma Police Department, agents with their narcotics division along with Homeland Security Investigations and Louisiana State Police Investigations took on the case.

The HPD Narcotics Division was reportedly granted a search warrant for a residence at 401 Louise St., and with the assistance of the HPD SWAT team, carried out the search, reportedly finding the following items.
Over 14 pounds of marijuana.
Over 4.5 ounces of crack cocaine.
Over $1,000.
Xanax pills.
MDMA.
Fraudulent Louisiana temp. license plates.
Fraudulent Louisiana and Texas MVI stickers.
Fraudulent Louisiana handicapped hanging placards.
In connection with the investigation, Toronzo Theriot and Ernest Davis were both arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute CDS I (Marijuana), possession of CDS I (MDMA), possession with intent to distribute CDS II (Crack Cocaine), possession of CDS IV (Xanax), transaction involving drug proceeds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Davis also faces an additional two warrants for distribution of CDS II.
