LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The cats are now 5-0 after a triple-digit win over Jackson State on Friday night. Kentucky was led by Kobe Brea with 22 points and had five players finish in double figures. Kentucky finished with 108 points, scoring an even 54 in both halves. Overall, the cats shot 57.7% from the field and 43.6% from the three. Additionally, they dominated in many other statistics beyond just shooting. 29 assists, nine blocks and 13 steals also helped seal Friday’s win. Defensively, things were pretty evenly matched off the glass on Friday. 41 total rebounds for the cats and 40 for the tigers. The cats host Western Kentucky next Tuesday at 6:30 pm at Rupp Arena.
