9Day Forecast: Warm weekend, then a Thanksgiving cold front

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Happy Friday, Borderland! Warmer temperatures will kick off the weekend as we continue to see quiet and dry weather conditions.
Saturday will be beautiful, especially if you are planning to head Downtown for WinterFest. The festivities start at 5 p.m. with the tree lighting scheduled for 6 p.m. We’ll see warm breezes of 5-10 mph from the southwest along with a high near 75. Our low will be near 42.
On Sunday those light winds stick around but we’ll remain in the mid-70s range with a high around 74 and a low around 45.
Increased cloud coverage begins the workweek. Monday through Wednesday, highs will be in the lower 70s with lows in the 40-50 degrees range. We’ll drop about 10 degrees on Thursday, just in time for Thanksgiving, where our high will be about 62 and low near 38.
Black Friday shoppers may want to keep a jacket on hand while you’re out snagging those deals— a high near 60 is expected with a low around 40. Next Saturday and Sunday we’ll gradually warm back up to the mid-60s range and with the lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
