(WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — The Woodland Park Police Department (WPPD) is asking for the community's help in finding a suspect who allegedly stole from a Walmart and ran from officers reaching speeds of over 100 mph. WPPD said on Friday, Nov. 22, officers were called to the Walmart on Highway 24 for a report of a theft just before 3 p.m. When police arrived, they attempted to stop the suspect's car, believed to be a GMC SUV. If you recognize either of the suspects, police ask that you contact WPPD at (719) 687-9262 and reference case number 24-0895.
