CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A section of Highway 78 in Ladson is shut down from a three-vehicle collision, according to first responders. Hwy 78 at College Park Road is closed after the three-vehicle collision with entrapment, the Charleston County Rescue Squad said via X. Five people were reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that range from moderate to severe, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office explained. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area while crews work to clear the scene.
