Man arrested in murders of his parents, son: Chatham Police says

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) said that they arrested and charged a man with three counts of murder in connection with a shooting that happened Friday morning.
Forty-two-year-old Junior Thomas Babcock is charged in the shooting death of his parents and his 14-year-old son at their home in the 200 block of Quacco Trail, officials said.
CCPD said Babcock will be transported to the Chatham County Detention Center after he is released from the hospital.

Details of his hospital stay have not yet been released.

Officers were dispatched to the home around 9 a.m.
On the scene, they found three people deceased inside the residence from apparent gunshot wounds and detectives took Babcock into custody shortly after, CCPD said.
The investigation is active and ongoing, but CCPD said that detectives do not anticipate any additional arrests in this case.
