MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A shooting and crash in Whitehaven left a woman dead and a man and baby injured Friday morning, police say. A 23-year-old woman was taken to Regional One in critical condition, a 27-year-old man was taken to Methodist University in non-critical condition, and a 1-year-old baby was taken to Le Bonheur in non-critical condition. According to Memphis Police, the woman later died from her injuries. Police say preliminary information shows that the woman was involved in a verbal altercation at a different location before they were shot at and involved in the crash.
