MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Just over one year after a shooting at a Northaven convenience store left a man dead, the suspect has been taken into custody and charged with the crime, officials say. Lamarious Rattler was wanted in connection to the shooting death of a man in the Penny Pantry parking lot on October 12, 2023. One killed in shooting at Northaven store On Friday morning, around 8 a.m., the Shelby County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Team and K-9 unit, along with help from the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force, found Rattler in the 5800 block of Third Cove and took him into custody.
