One person rescued from vehicle after collision with train closes roads in Wisconsin

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities have responded to a multi-vehicle train accident in downtown Oconomowoc, leading to the closure of Main Street and Second Street/Summit Avenue.
According to a Facebook post from the Western Lakes Fire District, the area is expected to remain inaccessible for an extended period as emergency crews continue their work at the scene.

Western Lakes Fire District reports that one individual was rescued from a vehicle involved in the accident and transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
The post states that the incident is under investigation by the Oconomowoc Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Residents are advised by the fire and police departments to avoid the downtown area and use alternate routes while the investigation is ongoing.
