As our northwesterly winds continue this evening, some occasional lake effect rain showers and sprinkles are possible on-and-off throughout the evening. Temps stay above freezing, so no ice is expected to form on area roads or on car windshields. Our sky remains cloudy, and conditions breezy, with temps not fluctuating much at all. Temperatures this evening through early tomorrow morning will be in the low-to-mid-40s. Temps are in the low-to-mid-40s all night long. Our winds shift tomorrow, stopping the lake effect rain potential. Instead of blowing in from the northwest like today, tomorrow's winds blow in breezily from the southwest. High temps will reach the mid-40s. On Sunday, warmer air flows in that helps raise our high temp all the way to the 50° mark. No rain comes during the day, but a slight chance returns at night into Monday. A push of warmer air blowing in on Sunday will allow our high temp to reach 50° Sunday afternoon. On Monday, there's another push of warmer air that allows us to reach a high of 55°. Some rain moves across the region and a cold front pushes through. By Tuesday, we turn colder with highs only around 40° and Wednesday's a quiet weather day, locally, too, with a high of 40°. For Thanksgiving Day Thursday, a weather system moves by south of us and we could see some light rain and snow showers scattered throughout the region. This is not a very significant storm for our area and the overall precipitation chance is not very high.
