(CNN)– Thanksgiving holiday is expected to be a record-breaking week of travel. Next Friday is expected to be the busiest travel day for flyers before Thanksgiving. The Transportation Security Administration expects more than 18 million people will go through security across the United States for the holiday period. Some newer federal policies seeking to make travel smoother are in effect. Meanwhile, Wednesday is expected to be the biggest travel day for drivers.
