(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The motorcyclist who died in a crash on Sunday, Nov. 3 has been identified as 54-year-old Spencer Cooreman according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). CSPD said on Nov. 3 at around 3:30 p.m. officers were called to the 500 block of Garden of the Gods Road east of I-25 for a vehicle and motorcycle crash. When police arrived it was determined that Cooreman, the driver of the motorcycle received serious injuries and was taken to the hospital where they later died from their injuries. CSPD's investigation of the crash revealed that Cooreman's speed on the motorcycle was a factor in the crash. CSPD said this was the 46th traffic fatality in 2024, at this time in 2023 there were 45 fatalities.
