AUSTIN (KXAN) — There will be a ranked matchup in the second round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs Friday at Burger Stadium. No. 10 Westlake takes on No. 21 San Antonio Brennan at 7 p.m. inside Burger Stadium with the winner taking another step toward the ultimate goal of playing for a state championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Grady Bartlett rushed for two scores and Elijah Clark scored another. Clark averaged 12.6 yards per carry with 63 yards on five attempts. The Bears would rather run the football. Junior quarterback Cayden Glass completed 6 of 8 attempts for 54 yards in last week's 28-7 win over SA Reagan, but he did damage on the ground with 138 rushing yards on 21 carries with a touchdown. Malik White had 71 yards on 14 carries and Tristan Escobar ran for 63 yards on 10 carries. The Bears rushed for 306 yards on 48 carries against the Rattlers, and for the season the Bears have rushed for 2,867 yards on 399 carries.
