NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) - A man on the Massachusetts Most Wanted list is now being held without bail after more than a year on the run. Tajon Saxon was arrested in New Bedford this week. He was wanted in connection with three homicides. The May 2023 murder of 23-year-old Diamonte Odom and a May 2021 double homicide. Springfield baby shot in Hartford was in foster care In addition to the arrest warrant, Saxon has additional arrest warrants for unrelated crimes of accessory after the fact of murder, interfering with a police officer, and narcotics and motor vehicle offenses. “Massachusetts State Troopers assigned to the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section work collaboratively with our partners every day to pursue, locate, and apprehend individuals wanted for violent crimes that negatively impact quality of life,” Massachusetts State Police Colonel Geoffrey Noble said. “I also commend the New Bedford and Fall River Police Departments whose integral partnership enabled the team to deliver this case to prosecutors at the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.” Saxon was found hiding in the bathroom of a 3rd-floor apartment in New Bedord. He was arraigned on Thursday on murder and gun charges.
