ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The ABQ BioPark has added a new species that has joined the Western gray kangaroos and emus. Zoo officials welcomed three male Bennett's wallabies, named Cheddar, Tapioca, and Logan. Santa Fe Midtown Development closer to getting underway Although wallabies are smaller than most kangaroos, they are also in the marsupial family known as macropods, which means large foot. The ABQ BioPark said the new species can be seen exploring the habitat with emus Beaker and Blue, and the kangaroos.
