NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- The 38th Annual Grand Illumination Parade will fill the streets of Norfolk on Nov. 23.
The parade takes place every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and last about an hour starting from when you can see the first unit.
The event is free an open to the public. Guests can bring chairs as well. Food vendors are available along the parade route. Early bird parking rates of $3 are available until 5pm at most garages. After 5 p.m., the parking rate is $5.
