EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — U.S. Border Patrol agents working in the El Paso Sector recently arrested three previously convicted sex offenders who were attempting to cross the southwest border, according to U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens. Owens says the arrest happened within the last three days and all three men reportedly had crimes against children including sexual abuse, rape, and aggravated sexual battery. Owens also says within the last 51 days, 20 sex offenders have been arrested at the southern border. No further information has been reported.
