Scattered snow showers are around as the day begins with more to come as the day goes on. Temps at daybreak will be near 30°. The snow shower potential picks up during the afternoon into the evening. Highs will only be in the mid-30s. With gusty SW winds up to 30 mph, wind chills will only be in the mid-20s at our warmest point! Thursday's weather features a blast of cold, windy moments, and the first snowflakes of fall. Only a light snow accumulation is possible across our region from now through Thursday evening on grassy areas and elevated surfaces. Pavement temps are high, so accumulation on the roads should not be a big issue. However, if the snow falls rapidly, visibility, while driving, may be reduced at times. NE Indiana and NW will see a light snow accumulation from now through Thursday evening. Snow will taper off in the evening and temperatures will warm to above freezing on Friday. A few scattered rain showers are possible Friday with highs in the mid-40s. It will stay dry through the weekend with high temperatures in the 50s by Sunday. Temperatures will be in the low 50s Monday with rain showers, as another cold front moves into the area. It will be much colder Tuesday with highs crashing into the upper 30s. Fort Wayne's Night of Lights next Wednesday looks dry and chilly with highs in the low 40s in the afternoon and 30s in the evening. Thanksgiving has a chance of seeing some snowflakes fly with highs in the upper 30s. Morning: Mostly cloudy and cold.
