ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Week 6 New Mexico high school football wrapped with Saturday’s slate of games. Here is a look at some scores and highlights. In a class 5A district 1 clash, Highland and Valley each looked to pick up a second consecutive win for the first time this season. Overtime was needed to decide a winner, and the Hornets came out on top 26-20. New class 4A district 2 foes Manzano and Chaparral met at Wilson Stadium. Manzano took control early and showed its dominance in a 52-8 win to improve to 5-1. Hope Christian looked to remain hot against Santa Fe Indian. The Huskies scored early and often in the win.
