ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Gophers secondary will be shorthanded for a second straight game against Michigan on Saturday. Cornerback Justin Walley and safety Darius Green are out, while safety Aidan Gousby is available, according to the unavailability list shared two hours before the 11 a.m. CT kickoff at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines have rushed for 204 yards per game, but have only passed for 122 yards per game, so the absence of the defensive backs could be a bigger issue in run fits and support. Minnesota was without Walley and Gousby for last week’s 31-14 loss to Iowa while Green was injured against the Hawkeyes. Green missed the first two games of the season with a different issue. Walley has eight tackles and one interception in three games. Gousby has six tackles and an interception in three games. Gophers tight end Jameson Geers is listed as questionable, while defensive tackle Theo Randle and tight end Pierce Walsh remain out.
