ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —A motorcyclist was hospitalized Thursday night to be treated for what were described as serious injuries following a crash in Rochester. Officers were called to the area of Lake Avenue and Maplewood Park just before 6 p.m. Police said it was later discovered that the motorcyclist was speeding down Lake Avenue when it collided with an SUV attempting to make a left turn. The occupants of the SUV weren't injured. The motorcyclist, identified as a 37-year-old Greece man, was taken to the hospital where police said he was left fighting for his life. No charges have been announced in this case.
