ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Excitement is high over at the Rochester Museum and Science Center with a preview of its newest exhibit: "Animal Super Powers," made entirely of LEGO bricks. The latest addition is described as being larger than life. Presented by The Summit Federal Credit Union, it's a traveling display featuring life-sized animal sculptures made by Brooklyn-based artist, Sean Kenney. Each animal showcases a unique superpower within the animal kingdom. "They are bigger than what I thought, some of them are full sized - the polar bear is pretty much life-sized. Some of them, like the tree frog, are just enormous macro representations of the animals so you can really see the details," said Dr. Calvin Uzelmeier, director of exhibits at RMSC. The exhibit will be on display beginning Friday, and it will remain up through May. You can click here to learn more.
