Man arrested, illegal firearms seized in Selma, police say

SELMA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man has been arrested following the seizure of illegal firearms at his home in Selma, the Selma Police Department said.
Officers say their investigations unit served a search warrant on Thursday on a home located in Selma after obtaining information about a subject possibly in possession of illegal firearms.
After service of this warrant and investigation, detectives say 34-year-old Eric Cabrera was found to be in possession of several illegal assault rifles along with illegal high-capacity magazines and ammunition.
According to police, Cabrera was then booked into the Fresno County Jail under suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of an assault rifle.
