AUSTIN (KXAN) -- On Thursday, the Austin Police Department identified a 33-year-old man who died after a crash between a CapMetro bus and motorcycle in north Austin Tuesday, the agency said in a news release Thursday. Around 7:40 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East Koenig Lane for the crash. The motorcyclist was identified as Joshua Lee-Michael Babb. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. There was also a passenger on the CapMetro bus who was transported to the hospital with non-serious injuries, according to police. One dead after Cap Metro bus, motorcycle collision in north Austin This is now being investigated as Austin's 65th fatal crash of 2024, the release said.
