CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Former track and field athlete and 2019 graduate from Clovis Unified's Buchanan High School Shelby Daniele has died. In a social media post by Buchanan High School's track and field on Thursday, Shelby Daniele was described as a "standout track athlete" who went on to both study at Cal Poly and continue her athletic career. Meet the Valley girls who helped make a No. 1 state track title a reality "This loss leaves a gigantic hole in so many hearts, and we will never forget the amazing woman that Shelby was," posted Buchanan Track and Field on social media.
