FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A local discount party store will have celebrity appearances from the Horror movie genre across stores in the Central Valley. According to officials with Partyworks Discount Superstores, to get into the "Halloween spirit" there will be celebrity appearances at the Fresno, Clovis and Visalia stores. The two stars that will be attending are "Scary Movie" actor Dave Sheridan and actress Felissa Rose from the movie "Sleepaway Camp." Officials with the discount store say that Sheridan is famous for his Officer Doofy role in the Scary Movie film which was a spoof of Deputy Sheriff Dewey Riley from the horror movie "Scream." Sheridan and Rose will be appearing at the Clovis and Fresno Partyworks Discount stores on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the times and addresses listed below. 534 Shaw Ave., Clovis, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. River Park 4320 West Shaw Ave., Fresno, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. They will also appear on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Visalia store at 1917 W. Caldwell Ave., from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
