TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Golf Association (TGA) has named Myles Alonzo as its 2024 Player of the Year. Alonzo won the City Stroke Play tournament in late July by a nine-stroke margin. He also advanced to the quarterfinals in City Match Play and placed third in City Two-Man Best Ball. The former Topeka West Charger swept the City High School games as a senior earlier in 2024. A man says Ohtani’s 50-50 home run ball was ripped out of his hands. Now, he’s suing Myles' older brother, Addison, was named the TGA Player of the Year in 2022. TGA tells 27 News this is the first time a pair of brothers have both won the award.
