Shelter of last resort open in Effingham County

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV)—A shelter of last resort is open for those who need one in Effingham County on Thursday. The shelter is located at Pinora Baptist Church 131 Elkins Street in Guyton. It will be open until 8 a.m. Friday. Bryan County opens 2 weather refuges Cots will be provided but you must bring your own linens, food and water. No showers will be available.
