Something festive this way comes. Cal Poly Pomona will bring back its annual Pumpkin Fest for its 31st iteration from Saturday, Sept. 28, until Sunday, Oct. 27. Visitors can pick from 35,000 university-grown pumpkins and enjoy live entertainment and activities. The event will include hay rides, corn mazes, a petting farm, a train ride pulled by an antique tractor, and the chance to buy pumpkins from the patch. Costume contests for pets and humans are scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27.
