La Sierra University began its fall quarter Sept. 23. The Riverside Community College District went back in August, as did the San Bernardino Community College District, much of the University of Redlands and Cal State San Bernardino. At UCR, a new building will be opening next quarter. On Friday, Oct. 18, UCR will host a ribbon cutting for its first building dedicated to business research and education in the School of Business. The four-story building, south of Anderson Hall, is expected to open for classes in the winter quarter, university spokesperson John Warren said.
