Central Florida under tornado watch, tropical storm warning as Helene nears

As Category 2 Hurricane Helene continues its path up the Gulf of Mexico toward Florida's Big Bend region, much of Central Florida has been placed under both a tropical storm warning and a tornado watch. Effective in Orange, Seminole, Lake, Volusia, Brevard, Osceola, Indian River, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin counties, a tornado watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
