EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- All you have to do is say the name three times! Beetlejuice. We are still saying the name 36 years later. Felipa Solis from the Critics Choice Association tells us why.  Beetlejuice! Betelgeuse! Michael Keaton! He's back and so is much of his team, 36 years later. When the Tim Burton dark comedy classic was released in 1988, it was considered out of the box and weird, but fun. It was a hit at Blockbuster in the rental world ( I am old enough to remember this) and Tim Burton became one of the most eccentric, engaging Directors of the 20th century.  Lydia Deetz was the eye-rolling teenager in the original film played by Winona Ryder. She's back and better than ever as the host of a supernatural talk show "Ghost House." That's the super fun part of the opening of the film. Lydia Deetz is on TV, and her boyfriend is the Producer, played by Justin Theroux. All of a sudden, there he is - Beetlejuice? It throws Lydia off, in a series of events that leads her to her past, including her infamous stepmother and now world-renowned artist Delia Deetz, always played to perfection by Catherine O'Hara. Lydia's Father, Charles, has passed away, so she gathers up her estranged teenager, Astrid, and off they go to that wild and wacky old house.  What happens next? It's an all-new Beetlejuice. You don't want him around, but you do - as he will save the day. Jenna Ortega is Astrid, who has the same Winona charm with the same Winona issues from back in the day... While she doesn't support her mom and her career, her mom is truly her biggest advocate. You will also see an evil Monica Bellucci, who is seeking her vengeance on Beetlejuice. And Beetlejuice, still working to depart from the afterlife. The music is sensational, the cinematography is amazing and fun and look out for Willem Dafoe and Danny DeVito who is always a superstar. I cried twice. The dream sequences truly come to life.  What a fun movie that makes the fall film season something that we can look forward to as hopefully, the weather cools off.
