MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Park workers in Minot say they have a new trailer they hope will come in handy. Park workers tell KX News the new wrapped trailer will serve as a portable office they can haul around to special events and work out of. Park workers can set up equipment inside. Right now, they tell us the trailer is being used at youth cross country meets. The trailer can also be used as a first aid station and will carry an AED. Mouse River project underway at Roosevelt Park and Zoo In the wintertime, they can use it to rent out skis and snowshoes. In the summer, park workers can use it to rent out kayaks. "Well, it's always nice to have a place where, if it's too hot, people can go inside and cool off, or in the winter if they need to warm up, a building where can rent things out of that's mobile. If we want to go, say, to a trailhead at Moose Park and do skis and snowshoes in the winter, we have a place where we can do that out of and have some of our staff inside that can help people with that kind of thing," said Ann Nesheim, the recreation manager at the Minot Park District.
