BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Probation Department arrested a man in Delano Wednesday after searching a residence and finding a pistol. Officers were conducting a house call in the 200 block of Road 148 in Delano on Sept. 25 and arrested Hernan Pompa for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of ammunition by a felon. Pompa was on active felony probation and was found with a .380 auto caliber Ruger and live rounds of ammunition.
