BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Registration for the 51st Annual North of the River Christmas Parade is now open. The parade is set for Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. on North Chester Avenue between China Grade Loop and East Norris Road, according to organizers. This restaurant appears to be making move into former Romano’s Macaroni Grill location on Rosedale Hwy The theme for this year's Christmas Parade is "Christmas Around the World," according to organizers. Businesses, bands, groups and organizations are invited to celebrate diverse holiday traditions. Organizers say there is no fee to enter. Band and animal entries will be accepted through Nov. 22 and businesses, groups and organizations can be accepted through Dec. 6. Click here for more information.
