Employees, associates and customers participated in various service projects nationwide on Saturday, Sept. 14, focused on reducing economic hardship, enhancing greenspace and caring for others. Lift Where You Live volunteers came together to address critical community needs; their cumulative efforts impacted more than 10,000 lives. Some of the charitable activities included the following: Food Drive at Tranont Headquarters Tranont corporate employees held a food drive at the headquarters in Lehi to support local families in need. A Tranont Jeep was filled with essential food and items for donation to Orem Jr. High’s food pantry. Tree Planting at Dimple Dell Regional Park At Dimple Dell Regional Park in Sandy, Utah, volunteers planted fruit trees to contribute to environmental sustainability and beautify the park. More than 30 volunteers worked together to plant 24 trees, build fences and clear weeds from the orchard. Senior Citizen Center Activities at Pointe Meadows At the Pointe Meadows Senior Center in Lehi, volunteers spent quality time with senior citizens, engaging in arts and crafts and playing games. The event provided a fun and uplifting experience for everyone involved. Tranont associates also reported participating in activities such as delivering water to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission; running in various philanthropic races like the Terry Fox Run, the annual charity run for cancer research; making Bravery Bracelets for Alberta Children’s Hospital; walking animals at a local animal shelter; packing Thanksgiving meals with AABA for families in need; hiking and biking to raise money for Marigold Hospice; donating to community health and housing associations; fundraising for various causes on social media and more.
