Salt Lake City — For the second event of the 2025-26 season, Nitrocross is heading back to where it all began: Utah Motorsports Campus. First opened in 2006, Utah Motorsports Campus has hosted a range of different series over the years, from top-level sports car racing to drifting, and motorcycle racing, too. In 2018, the series hosted the Nitro World Games, where Nitrocross was born. A follow-up event was held a year later, before Nitrocross evolved into a full season competition in 2021, with UMC again hosting the season opener. In what will be our fifth visit to UMC, two full Nitrocross Championship Rounds will take place across Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase via nitrocrossracing.com or at the UMC Box Office.  Tune in for the official press conference at 3PM MDT on Thursday, October 3, featuring a panel of key Nitrocross personalities. If you wish to ask any questions on behalf of your media outlet, please use this Zoom link during the scheduled broadcast. To attend in person, please email the Public Relations team directly. Fans and the general public can watch on Nitrocross’ Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube channels and on Nitrocross’ official broadcast partner Rumble here. With around 1,000 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 1.5 seconds, the FC1-X is one of the most capable cars around, delivering intensely close racing. Reigning champion Robin Larsson – who won the first round of this season at Richmond Raceway – is the most recent winner at UMC, and comes into the weekend third in points behind Oliver Eriksson and Fraser McConnell who both took back-to-back podiums at the curtain raiser in Virginia at the beginning of September.
