NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Police said they’re investigating an alleged carjacking that happened late last night in North Providence. According to officials, it happened approximately at 11:15 p.m. A female called police after two males approached her, allegedly stealing her vehicle and other personal belongings while she was returning to her home on Smithfield Road. Police said the female thinks one of the suspects had a handgun. The incident is under investigation. Categories: News
