NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officials with City Park Conservancy and the New Orleans Saints unveiled renovations to Pan American Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The additions are part of phase I, with a new scoreboard set to be completed later this month. They said Pan Am Stadium was built in 1973 and was last majorly renovated in 2008. We’re grateful to the Park and the Saints for making this happen in time for the season.”  Phase II of the project will include new stadium lighting and is expected to begin in 2025.
