Columbia PD redirecting traffic due to flooding along Blossom Street

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police is redirecting traffic along Blossom St. near Huger Street due to severe flooding in the area, says CPD.
Westbound traffic on Blossom to Cayce is being routed to Gervais Street.

SCDOT is also at the scene helping law enforcement as they redirect traffic.
Crews are working to reopen the road asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving near the area.
Drivers can expect traffic delays as cleanup efforts continue, according to SCDOT.
